Eric has deep experience in crafting new business models in solar as well as leading development of new products. Eric began his solar career with PowerLight Corporation where he served on the Board of Directors for 10 years before joining the firm to start PowerLight Europe, which he ran as General Manager. Eric has a highly successful track record of developing, financing and building large-scale projects, several times leading the development of the world’s largest solar parks. In sum, Eric is responsible for the installation of over 340 MW of worldwide renewable energy installations.
Eric’s creative approach has resulted in the development of powerful new business models now used throughout the industry. Eric wrote the business plan that forged the nexus between large-scale manufacturers with downstream developers. This fusion of capabilities and best-in-class skill sets is now the bedrock model for some of the most successful companies. In addition, Eric has led engineering and design to create and patent a wide range of industry leading products.
Eric’s leadership and management style focus on finding, developing and motivating talented teams to achieve the highest results. Eric has managed organizations with revenues of over $400MM by fusing diverse talents and skills into true synergistic effect.
Eric and his wife live in East Sacramento and have two adult sons. In his free time, Eric enjoys sailing, road biking, travel and reading. Eric graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics. He has also completed substantial coursework in Physics. Eric sits on the Board of Directors for Solar Cookers International (SCI). Todd is a focused entrepreneur, finance authority, licensed contractor and global project developer. Prior to starting Enable Energy, Todd served as Senior Vice President of Operations at Paramount Energy Solutions, LLC where he grew the firm from a base of 80 monthly residential solar transactions to over 600 per month when SolarCity acquired the firm. Todd’s responsibilities included business development, financing, operations, engineering, procurement, construction and customer care. During this time, Todd was also a key member of the team the development and executed Paramount’s residential tax equity fund.
Todd’s career includes serving as Vice President, Sales for Sharp Solar in the Americas. He joined Sharp Solar to manage and reconfigure their sales and marketing teams in North and South America during a time period where the average sales price reduced by 100%. During his tenure at Sharp Solar, Todd and his team were responsible for eliminating standing inventory and restoring sales to a level commensurate with factory capacity inclusive of a 120-day sales backlog, reducing sales and marketing operating cost, and implementing additional service products to support higher levels of gross margin and contribution.
Todd served as Chief Operating Officer at Helio Power where he led the team responsible for developing demand-side energy management strategies for mid to large size commercial, industrial, agricultural, and public sector clients. He built strategic relationships with mid-to-large size contractors entering the renewable energy field and working on demand-side management projects with key clients. As President of Yes! Solar Solutions, Todd served as the franchisor side of Solar Power, Inc. a publicly traded, fully integrated solar power company. As the franchisor, Yes! opened several locations including a retail location in Roseville, CA, Cary, NC, and Pleasanton, CA, with an additionally construction/sales office in Denver, CO. Simultaneously, Todd served as Senior Vice President of Solar Power, Inc. where he developed and managed the team responsible for renewable energy projects inclusive of structured financing, system design, construction, performance metrics, contract negotiation, asset management and sales.
At Sun Power & Geothermal Energy, Todd was Vice President of Sales & Finance where he developed some of the earliest financing tools for the solar industry. This included the use of Lease Revenue Bonds, Certificate of Participation Bonds for public agencies and other term debt for private customers. Additionally, Todd managed the team responsible for one of California’s first megawatt distributed generation projects, inclusive, of sales, financing, construction and asset management. This team also generated over 35 megawatts of projects from 2001 to 2006.
Mr. Lindstrom has over 20 years of experience in construction and construction-related industries. He started his career in the solar industry as Vice President of Sales at Electric & Gas Industries Association (EGIA) from 2001 through 2003. Where he developed numerous utility related financing programs for energy efficiency, established a energy efficiency mortgage lender, and expanded EGIA’s services nationally.
As a founding employee, he was directly involved in the growth of CarsDirect.com. From 1999 through 2001, he served as the Vice President of Dealer & Industry Relations of CarsDirect.com. In 1990, he started his own construction company and purchased a Floor Coverings International (FCI) franchise, which he quickly developed into the second largest volume franchise in the FCI system.
Todd is a licensed general & solar contractor and a licensed real estate broker in the State of California. In his free time, he enjoys ice hockey, snow skiing and watching professional soccer. Todd attended California State University, Sacramento with a focus in Marketing and Public Relations.
Jack is a brilliant design engineer with 40 years experience and numerous patents and patents pending for solar modules, racking systems and electronics.
